- Ethan reads every application himself.
- He picks by judgement, not by chance. There is no draw.
- He weighs three things: how much a website would help the business, what you wrote in your answer, and whether it's a site he can build well.
- Best fit: no website yet, or only a Facebook page.
- Not a fit: franchises, businesses on a marketing agency retainer, and large online stores.
- Applications made in a month are considered for that month.
- Ethan picks in the first week of the next month and emails every applicant.
- Not picked? You can apply again the next month.
After the free year
- Keep it for $249 a month. Month to month. No tax added.
- Or stop. The site comes down and nothing is owed.
- Or own it outright for $2,500, one time.
- Ethan emails you a month before the free year ends.
The fine print

- The free year is 12 months of the $249-a-month plan, worth $2,988.
- Ethan may show the finished site as his work.
- The chosen business gets the details by email. Where that email differs from the terms, the email applies.
