Ethan Wildman, carrying on business as Wildman Studio (“Wildman Studio”, “we”), operates wildmanstudio.ca.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

Ethan Wildman is responsible for compliance with this policy and with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Quote form (/gta and /canada): your name, business name, phone number, email address and message, together with the page the form was sent from and the time it was sent.

Free website application (/free-website): your business name, name, email address, phone number if given, town and your answer to the application question, together with the time it was sent; it is used to choose the business that receives the free website.

Website report card (/report-card): the website address you enter, your business name, email address and phone number if given, together with the time it was sent and the results of the check.

Telephone and text: your phone number and the content of any call or message to 289 985 1277.

Booking: the name and email address you enter when you book a call.

Email: any message you send to ethan@wildmanstudio.ca.

Technical: our host records the time, page and browser type of each request in order to serve and secure the site.

We do not collect payment details, government identifiers or health information through this website.

To respond to your enquiry and to arrange a call.

To prepare the website report you ask for and to send you a copy of it.

To provide the service you have asked for.

To keep the website working and secure.

To measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry, on the pages described in section 5.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use personal information for marketing, and you are not added to any mailing list by contacting us.

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate parts of this website, and only for that purpose.

Vercel hosts the website and runs its forms; its function logs retain a copy of each submission for up to 24 hours.

Resend delivers the form email to us and the confirmation email or report copy to you.

Quo provides the telephone number 289 985 1277 and sends a text message when a call is missed.

Cal.com handles call bookings under its own privacy policy.

Google receives advertising conversion data as described in section 5.

Google also receives the website address entered in the report card, to run its PageSpeed Insights test on that website.

These providers may process information in the United States.

We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it.

This website sets one cookie.

The pages /gta, /canada and /thanks carry a Google Ads tag that sets the cookie _gcl_au for approximately 90 days so that Google can attribute an enquiry to an advertisement.

The cookie identifies a browser to Google; it does not identify you to Wildman Studio.

You may refuse or delete it in your browser settings, and you may turn off ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

No other page of this website sets a cookie.

Page-view counts are collected with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and keeps no identifier that follows you between visits.

Some concept sites in the portfolio load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google when the font is requested.

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the enquiry or the resulting service is active, and are deleted on request.

Vercel’s function logs are kept for up to 24 hours.

Call, text and booking records are kept by Quo and Cal.com under their own policies.

We delete personal information on request unless the law requires us to keep it.

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

To do so, contact us at ethan@wildmanstudio.ca. We respond within 30 days.

You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

The website is served over HTTPS.

Access to personal information is limited to Ethan Wildman and to the service providers named in section 4.

If a breach of security creates a real risk of significant harm, we notify the people affected and the Privacy Commissioner as PIPEDA requires.

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

This website links to websites we do not operate. Their privacy practices are their own.

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows the current version.
